When I have the front of the car on jack stands you can turn the steering wheel pretty easily. But when it's on the ground it takes a GREAT deal of force to turn it. Also, while it's on jack stands and you do turn the steering wheel there is still no "ON" signal indication from the PS switch. It would seem that when you turn the steering wheel there should be some fluid flowing enough to activate the PS switch. It may be that there is not enough pressure in the line to activate the switch. Air may cause that I guess. The fluid in the reservoir looks normal. Haven't had a chance to work on it since my post. I hope to solve this problem this weekend though.
